I have seen ppl queuing for movie, for bus, for food at canteen or restaurant, for free gifts or shows, for atm and for so many other things but today is the first time I saw ppl queuing to study! I always thought I am a relatively studious person but seeing a whole bunch of students waiting for the library to open on a Sunday made me realise the otherwise.
The library closes at 4:30 pm but the university is nice enough to open a 24 hour study room at level 6 after the library closes. But, it only opens at 4:45 pm. So, when the library closed, we (ssah, ko tlt, ko ak, etc and me) moved up. To my dismey, I saw a crowd of people queuing there to enter the 24 hr study room. It was not a small crowd. It was a huge crowd, a crowd enough to fill up the entire study room. Worrying we might not get a place, we had to join the queue. Considering that this is a Sunday, I was totally shocked by the proportion of super studious students in Nus. But, since I felt that there was no point queuing to study, I moved to COM1 where I know there are some free 24 hr tutorial rooms for students. It was too bad that I couldn't convince SSAH group to go with me to COM1. So they remained queuing to study. A memoriable experience indeed.
